CKD WARD CASE OF A 50 YEAR OLD FEMALE

A 50 year old female who was a housewife used to wake up in morning , freshen up , do all her daily chores like sweeping , mopping the floor , washing utensils and cooking and then she used to take rest in the afternoon and in the evening would chitchat with her neighbours and again cook , then sleep as her daily routine .

3 years back she had back pain for which she went to NIMS , HYDERABAD and was told that she had problem with her kidneys and was on mdication which is not known and then got relieved of her symptoms

6 months ago she suddenly started getting

-vomitings - 5 to 6 episodes in a day or sometimes 2-3 episodes , non projectile , food being contents

-acidity

-shortness of breath even on lying down for 10 days which was sudden in onset , non - progressive

Due to the above symptoms she came to KIMS , NARKETPALLY and got admitted and was given medication for which her symptoms were relieved and DIALYSIS was done during the admitted period for 4 times :

1st dialysis - 18/8/2021
21/8/2021
25/8/2021
30/8/2021

Then she got discharged , after 4 days of discharge she was again called for dialysis (from then on she's getting her dialysis done whenever called )

4-5 days ago she developed swelling of legs , hands and face which was insidious in onset and gradually progressive , aggravated on walking and sitting and relieved by taking rest or lying down

H/O NSAID'S use present for knee pains for 2 years

H/O Hypertension since 2 years and is on medication for it - Nicardia , Nifedipine (she uses this tablet if the BP is much higher ) , Furosemide

No H/O admissions anywhere else except for KIMS , NARKETPALLY
